An adjective is a word that modifies a noun to tell you more about it.

Adjectives never change. They are never plural.

For example:-

This is a nice cake.

Adjectives go before their nouns.

They're nice people.

Possessive Adjectives

A possessive adjective modifies a noun to show ownership.

For example:-

I'm Lynne.

My name's Lynne.

Possessive adjectives go before their nouns.

Lynne is my name.
